EMOM stands for Every Minute On the Minute. At the start of each minute you do a set number of reps; the time left until the next minute is your recovery. The faster you go, the more you rest.

Steps

  1. 10 minutes: at the top of each minute, do your reps (for example 10 squats and 5 push-ups), then rest until the next minute

Tips

  • Choose a number of reps you can do in 30 to 40 seconds
  • If you only have a few seconds of rest, reduce the reps
  • Alternate two exercises every other minute
